Mitsubishi Delica Mini 2025 & eK Space 2025: Full Redesign, New Tech and Launch Date

The Mitsubishi Delica Mini 2025 has been officially refreshed alongside the updated eK Space 2025, bringing a redesigned exterior, upgraded interior, new safety features, and improved onboard tech. Both kei cars will enter the Japanese market on October 29, 2025, and will likely appear on import platforms such as enon-cars.com

shortly after release. Mitsubishi aims to strengthen its position in the compact segment with these updates, targeting both urban users and small-family buyers.

Mitsubishi Delica Mini 2025: Exterior and Interior Updates

The Delica Mini 2025 keeps its rugged personality but introduces a more refined and modern exterior. Mitsubishi has added new semi-circular LED position lights, an updated Dynamic Shield grille integrated with safety sensors, wider skid plates, and chunkier wheel arches. The 4WD model features 15-inch alloy wheels with a tread-inspired design, while the 2WD version gets 14-inch rims with a more squared aesthetic.

Customers can choose from 15 body colors, including two new shades: Sand Beige Pearl and Denim Blue Pearl. These tones align with the lifestyle-oriented branding Mitsubishi is pushing for this model.

Inside the cabin, the 2025 Delica Mini has undergone meaningful ergonomic changes. The front and rear seats have been redesigned for better comfort, flatter folding, and improved overall support. Mitsubishi also reduced the cabin’s floor-level difference by about 30%, making entry and movement inside easier. A slimmer A-pillar has added 115 mm of usable space, resulting in better visibility and a roomier feel.

A new 12.3-inch infotainment system with Google built-in is paired with a 7-inch digital instrument screen in a single monolithic dashboard layout. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are supported, along with built-in navigation, voice commands, and over-the-air updates.

Tech and Safety Features in the Delica Mini 2025

For the first time in any key car, the Delica Mini 2025 features five selectable drive modes: Power, Eco, Normal, Gravel, and Snow. These modes adapt throttle response, traction control, and drivetrain behavior across different surfaces and conditions.

Mitsubishi has also equipped the model with Grip Control for slippery terrain, Hill Descent Control for steep declines, and KYB Prosmooth shock absorbers to improve ride comfort. The Forward Collision Mitigation system now includes junction assist, enhancing safety at urban intersections.

The safety suite features Blind Spot Warning, Active Blind Spot Assist, Lane Change Assist, and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. A 3D Multi Around Monitor provides eight viewing angles, including a panoramic nose view and front underfloor visibility.

Convenience features include walk-away auto-lock, unlock-on-approach, a hands-free sliding door, and scheduled door locking. These additions help the Delica Mini compete with popular mini-MPVs and small crossovers in the Japanese market.

Mitsubishi eK Space 2025: Compact Urban Redesign

The Mitsubishi eK Space 2025 keeps its city-friendly dimensions but adopts a more polished exterior. It features a compact black grille, cubic LED headlights, and subtle metallic accents for a cleaner aesthetic. Although it doesn’t have the same off-road vibe as the Delica Mini, the eK Space leans into practicality and comfort.

Inside, Mitsubishi has introduced stretchable seat fabric and new contour shaping for improved ride comfort. Like the Delica Mini, the cabin benefits from a slimmer A-pillar, giving the driver more space and better visibility.

There are additional storage compartments, USB ports, and new instrument tray areas to support everyday use. The eK Space 2025 offers three drive modes: Eco, Normal, and Power, which is ideal for urban driving needs.

Convenience tech includes approach unlocking, walk-away locking, scheduled auto-lock for the sliding doors, and a Plasmacluster air purification system designed to filter cabin air.

Launch Timeline and Market Outlook in 2025

Mitsubishi has confirmed the Japanese release date of October 29, 2025, for both vehicles. While domestic demand remains the main focus, international interest in kei cars continues to grow. Platforms such as enon-cars.com frequently introduce these models to foreign markets once local sales begin.
