Lamborghini Electrifies Goodwood Festival of Speed with Revuelto and Urus SE
Lamborghini roared into the Goodwood Festival of Speed this year, showcasing their commitment to high-performance electrified vehicles with the stunning Revuelto and the powerful Urus SE.
Thrilling Crowds on the Hill
Both the Revuelto, Lamborghini’s first High-Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV), and the Urus SE, a plug-in hybrid super SUV, took center stage in the Lamborghini VIP area. They didn’t just sit pretty though, they thrilled thousands of spectators with exhilarating runs up the iconic “Top of the Hill” course in the Supercar and Premiere categories, respectively.
Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, highlights the significance of the event:
“The Goodwood Festival of Speed provides an excellent platform for Lamborghini to connect with owners and enthusiasts,” Winkelmann said. “Everyone loves the opportunity to see our cars up close and witness the pure dynamism of our supercars in action. Lamborghini remains dedicated to advancing our hybrid technology. The Revuelto and Urus SE showcased at Goodwood are prime examples of our successful product strategy. They not only embody the brand’s enduring style and emotional appeal, but also deliver cutting-edge technology and performance.”
A Bespoke Revuelto Takes the Spotlight
The Lamborghini VIP area hosted a truly unique Revuelto, specially designed by Lamborghini’s Ad Personam department to celebrate their presence at Goodwood. This one-of-a-kind creation exemplifies the limitless customization possibilities Lamborghini offers.
Exterior Design That Electrifies
The sporty Revuelto boasts a sleek Grigio Acheso (grey) exterior accented with striking Rosso Mimir (red) pinstripes. Lightweight carbon fiber plays a prominent role throughout the car, from the fascia and door sills to the side fins. A Nero Nemesis (black) roof contrasts beautifully with matte black exhaust pipes and 22-inch black wheels. Nero Nemesis paint stripes adorn the front hood, complemented by Rosso Mimir pinstripes on the roofline, front lip, side mirrors, and lower body.
Interior Luxury Meets Performance
The interior echoes the exterior’s theme with a sophisticated Nero Ade (black) color scheme. Rosso Alala (red) accents on the seats, piping, door panels, and seat belts add a touch of sporty elegance. Carbon fiber details on the steering wheel and instrument panel complete the luxurious, high-performance feel. This right-hand-drive masterpiece will soon be delivered to a lucky British customer.
Urus SE Makes Dynamic UK Debut
The Urus SE, unveiled for the first time in the UK, also stole the show in the Premiere category. This plug-in hybrid boasts a powerful 800 hp hybrid system and a completely redesigned exterior for improved aerodynamics and performance. Its innovative “dual heart” system seamlessly integrates the combustion engine and electric motor for incredible torque and performance, all while reducing emissions by an impressive 80% compared to the Urus S. Orders for the Urus SE, which will be available worldwide starting in 2025, have already filled the first 24 months of production.
Huracán Family Makes a Grand Appearance
Joining the Revuelto in the Supercar paddock were the Huracán Tecnica, a Huracán EVO Spyder in the stunning Diablo 30th Anniversary Purple, and a Huracán Sterrato. As the eagerly awaited successor to the Huracán sets to be unveiled later this year, the Goodwood Festival of Speed provided the perfect platform to celebrate the iconic V10 supercar and its naturally aspirated engine on the legendary 1.16-mile Goodwood Hill Road.
Lamborghini VIP Area Welcomes Devoted Owners
Over the four-day event, the Lamborghini VIP Area welcomed more than 500 dedicated owners, invited by the brand’s 11 British dealers. The Goodwood Festival of Speed served as a vibrant testament to Lamborghini’s commitment to innovation, performance, and a passionate community of owners.
